The system works in a role-based format, with 3 fundamental roles - Administrators, Instructors and Students.

Administrators manage the account. They are responsible for adding instructors and courses, setting course prices and more. They also have the ability to limit the instructor to certain areas and features of the system. For example, an administrator can disable an instructor's ability to edit a course price or add a new course.

Users with the Instructor role can create, manage and teach courses, if permitted. They are responsible for managing and teaching courses that are assigned to them and, with permission of the Administrator, can add a new course or a new student.

Students have the ability to enroll and take courses. They will be able to log-in at any time and participate in a course by viewing course information, dropping off an assignment and more.
